What About Midland National Life Annuities?

Q: After hearing about problems with Allianz MasterDex 10 (which our neighbor has), we are wondering if our investments are OK. Both families had the same agent. We have Midland National Life Annuities for our IRA's, and a Midland National Individual Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity. What do you think? Are these OK?

We will appreciate any information you can give us. If they are not too good, we could take out 10% right now, and 10% more in later November on the anniversary date.

A: Are the Midland policies based on an equity indexed or do they have a fixed rate of interest?
