What makes it different/unique?
The fact that Mr. Voudrie was a ‘typical’
broker in the past gives him a unique perspective on the
financial industry. And his years as owner of a publishing
company forged a creative bent in the areas of writing and
broadcasting. As a result, he’s an excellent communicator,
both in person and in print.
He has also owned several small businesses, which further
broadened his knowledge and experience base. He’s had to
meet payroll, deal with suppliers and distributors, and
create business plans. He also holds a B.S. degree in
Accounting. His life experience allows him to better relate
to the struggles and difficulties your readers face.
Who should run this column?
Editors wanting to ‘beef up’ their financial
section with unique, relative content that will grab their
readers’ attention should run this column. If you’re looking
for a column that will drive repeat readership, this is the
one.
What's it about?
Guarding Your Wealth is a Dr. Phil meets
Wall Street column in which Mr. Voudrie tells it like it is
and doesn’t pull his punches. Jeff is an extremely practical
person and has a unique ability to make complicated issues
easy to understand.
Guarding Your Wealth focuses on helping your readers improve
their entire financial house. Some articles will be based on
current events. Others will be based on a wide variety of
financial topics including the secrets to successful
investing, the dangers of not having a medical power of
attorney, how to simplify the handling of an estate, ways to
legally pay less in taxes, how to keep the IRS from stealing
your children’s inheritance and many more.

What's in it for Jeff? (What's the catch?)
Budgetary constraints keep many newspapers
from hiring additional journalists and make it difficult to
pay for a column. And few journalists have the in-depth
financial expertise to write ‘How To’ financial articles
that will keep your readers coming back for more.
As you know, there is a major time commitment in writing a
weekly column. Mr. Voudrie is truly passionate about
empowering, educating and enabling people to improve their
financial lives. Guarding Your Wealth allows him to do that
and the resulting exposure on a national level justifies his
investment of time and energy.
Additionally, your readers will have the opportunity to get
their questions answered confidentially by Mr. Voudrie and
free Special Reports will be offered from time to time in
the byline. Of course, a reader may eventually choose to
utilize some of the financial services offered by Legacy
Planning Group, Inc.
When will each week's column be available?
The column will be available for download in
multiple formats from the editor only portion of our website
the Wednesday prior to the week it runs. For example, the
column that would run anytime between Sunday, September 7th
and Saturday, September 13th would be available by email or
download on Wednesday, September 3rd.
